Thank you to the committee for their kind invitation.

Sadly I found quite a number of exhibits with flat feet and very short in keel and ribbing. This was often accompanied by flat toplines and very weak loins, short croups and high tail sets.

However, I was very pleased with my main winners. Thank you to all for your entry.

Veteran Dog (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: BAKER & CLEMENTS Duke Midnight William

Sweet chocolate boy who moved well enough on neat feet.  A little toyish in head and round in eye. Nicely angulated both fore and aft.

Minor Puppy Dog (10 Entries) Abs: 5
1st: COXON D'Arisca Dinner at Eight  BP & BPIS

Really smart, eye-catching black and tan of correct weight. Head ok but a little lacking in under jaw and eye could be of better shape. However, excelled in outline having super and balanced angulation. Well constructed front assembly and well built rear. Moved well holding his firm topline. So pleased to see him taking BPIS
2nd: HERALD Sonorra Dark Treacle at Winterfield

A bit heavier built but still looks all miniature. Beautiful head leading into strong neck and well angulated shoulders. Good shapely outline. Good, well padded feet. Moved well.
3rd: COROMINAS Amur De Los Olivos De Quinto

Puppy Dog (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: DALTON  Llansansior Cinnamon

Red boy who was a tad heavy but was all hound. Had a good head but lacking a little underjaw. Good front and rear angulation. Balanced. Top and underline both correct. Moved well.
2nd: BULLINGHAM Stoweytop Treacle

Correct size and weight but outline had too much tuck up. Head had a little too much stop, nice eye shape. Moved ok.
3rd: NELSON Venari Full House

Junior Dog (4 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: CROSS & BLACK Riowood Red Boots

Attractively coloured red boy. Good head and eye. Nice outline but a little short in upper arm. Moved out well and soundly.
2nd: HAMBLING Chaseover Moonshine

Black and tan with good front assembly. Keel long enough giving a nice outline although a little long in loin. Could carry a bit more condition which would help the overall picture. Moved well enough.

3rd: WOOD Llansansior Chervil

Yearling Dog (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: PAGET & CARROLL Marvale Firecrest  RCC

Stood alone and carrying a little extra weight today. Masculine head but skull could be leaner. Correct front and rear construction. Strong topline, held on the move. His strong rear and good feet powered him very well around the ring.

Post Graduate Dog (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: DALTON Llansansior's Mr Cinnaman

Head okay, would like slightly less stop, beautiful shaped eyes. Super forechest and nice shoulders. Underline okay. Incorrect topline showing a dip at loin. A tad long at hock but again moved well enough.

Limit Dog (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: BAND & MCCARTHY Carpaccio Red Alert For Essandsee
2nd: STRANGE Stargang Magic Alfie Moon

Two red boys of totally different type. 1st a little short in muzzle but the head on 2nd was slightly out of proportion and muzzle too long creating weakness. Preferred front assembly on 1st as had better length of upper arm and had more of a sweeping underline.

Open Dog (4 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: ERGIS Ch Siouxline Jacob CC
2nd: KENT Ch Lokmadi Sand Dollar

Both very attractive types and I am nit picking between the two which could change places. Both had lovely heads, masculine look, strong necks running into good front assembly. Preferred the topline of 1st and the underline of 2nd. Both moved very well and could have gone either way.
3rd: ROBERTSON Ayseebee Look Who's Talking to Ravenwood

Veteran Bitch (4 Entries) Abs: 0
1st:  ERGIS Ch Siouxline Rapunzel with Melriding  CC, BOB & RBIS

Beautiful red girl, so well constructed, a true miniature but nothing toyish about her. From her feminine head, clean shoulders and balanced angulation. Right out of the top drawer. Her super movement and carriage belied her age and she demanded the CC and BOB. Delighted to see her go on to win RBIS – Congratulations.

2nd: CROSS Stargang Sansa

Another lovely girl with good proportions and well constructed. Beautiful head with attractive silver highlights in her muzzle. Also moved very well.

3rd: BULLINGHAM Bowetts Aventurine at Stoweytop

Minor Puppy Bitch (5 Entries) Abs: 3
1st: BEACH Beachdax Sweet Melody

Very smart puppy which should have a good future. The most attractive and correct head. Lovely breed type. Nicely put together. Good outline and balanced angulation. Moved confidently and true.
2nd: BLACKBURN Stargang Black Olive

Many of the same comments above apply. Another very promising puppy. So much to like, just 1st head tipped the balance.
3rd: COXON D'Arisca Little Black Dress

Puppy Bitch (10 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: RUDKIN Crosscop If I Could Dream for Dynastydax
2nd: HUNT Mylforbe Red Velvet at Sunara

Again two nice girls. Good heads, strong necks leading into well made shoulders. Good angulation fore and aft. Well held toplines but preferred the more sweeping underline of 1st..  Although both moved well, 1st was just a little more positive.
3rd: BLACKBURN-BENNETT Royalmaple Kinky Boots at Stargang

Junior Bitch (7 Entries) Abs: 0
1st:  CALLOW Garthorne Glenda

Very well constructed with beautiful balance. Good head with strong underjaw. Lovely front with prominent  prosternum. Strong topline, held on the move, sweeping underline. Powerful rear and good feet. Moved very well. A strong contender.
2nd: ROBERTS & SMITH Rayol Barecelona

Another pleasing girl with good outline, correct front assembly and strong rear. Okay for topline and underline, although loin not as strong as 1st and would prefer better let down hocks.
3rd: COXON D'Arisca Distinctive

Yearling Bitch (7 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: MORRIS & WADDELL Crosscop Gabriella

Well constructed bitch with lovely head and feminine expression. Good ear set. Good return of upper arm and of good length, giving her superb front movement which had lovely long low steps covering the ground. Strong in loin and good length to croup. One of the best movers of the day, just let down slightly by her underline being a tad untidy.
2nd: PAGET & CARROLL Marvale Sandpiper

Lots of similar comments as 1st but a slightly different type and outlines varied. A very nice bitch with I’m sure a good future. Just preferred the upper arm and resulting front movement of 1st and 1st had a stronger loin.
3rd: DAVIES Stargang Penny Lane

Post Graduate Bitch (10 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: HERALD Stargang Zebra Finch at Winterfield

A very nice brindle, well covered frame with strong topline and sweeping underline. Balanced angulation. Particularly good back end with strong thighs and long croup. Moved well with power.
2nd: COROMINAS Luna Nueva De Los Olivos De Quinto

Totally different type and finer made all through, therefore lacking a bit of substance. Construction okay. Moved well and nicely presented.
3rd: OAKLEY Ardenrun Waltzing Matilda

Limit Bitch (12 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: ROBERTS & SMITH Sonora Ginger Snap For Rayol

Attractive red with the best outline in the class. Good head and eye shape. Correct shoulders and topline. Underline okay and rear angulation correct. Feet could be tighter. Moved well.
2nd: O'CONNELL Hollybirch Glowing Gold for Llennocor

Different type but well enough made. Her underline was a tad sharp and would prefer a longer keel and better sweep. Well handled.
3rd: GITTINS Markidachs Saffrons Dream At Boomerloo

Open Bitch (11 Entries) Abs: 4
1st: RUDKIN Dynastydax Alfreda JW  RCC
Nicely made bitch with good head, nice eye shape and well set ears. Good front assembly with well laid shoulder. Strong topline and well constructed rear.  Moved very well to beat some very good bitches and earn the RCC.

2nd: CROSS Loggeta Pickled Lilly JW

A nice outline and another very nice type. Lots to like but just preferred the head and stronger underjaw of 1st. 1st also had a better upper arm and tail set.
3rd: BLACKBURN-BENNETT Stargang Song of Ice N'Fire
