I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at their open show. I had a good entry with only 3 absent, considering it was Border Union the same day. Was delighted to see my BOB winner go BIS.

V (1) 1 Hopper’s Montravia Nightingale, a sweet 8 year old bitch, had a lovely head with good shaped eyes, nice scissorbite, & her teeth were also very clean. Good deep forechest with well laid back shoulders. Moved well. BV. PD (1) 1 Grant’s Granhoward Edward, 9 month old dog, beautiful harsh coat for a puppy, with a lovely dark colour. Nice head with good earset & almond shaped eyes. Level topline & moved really well. BPD, BP. PGD (1) 1 Hopper’s Stargand Jack o'diamonds at Brynfaw, nice head, good reach of neck which follows into well laid shoulders, good length ribbing & a lovely wiry coat. OD (2) 1 Grant’s Barratini Ted Astaire at Granhoward, really nice brindle dog. Beautiful correct head, well laid back shoulders with correct angulation. Good length of ribbing. Moved soundly with level topline. BD, BOS; 2 Hayward’s Ch Foxearth Fiddler On The Roof, another nice dog, could change places any time. Nice head with good reach of neck flowing into well laid shoulders, nice harsh coat good rear angulation, but missed out on today as was being a little silly on the move. RBD.

PB (1) 1 Hayward’s Foxearth Fabracadabra, 6 month old red bitch. Beautiful young girl, deep prominent chest, good length of ribbing nice rear angulation. When she moved she moved well nice topline & strode out well, will come better with age. BPB. PGB (4) 1 Morris’ Pennywave Uptown girl, a beautiful 17 month old bitch. Beautiful head, good harsh coat. Moved soundly with straight topline the whole time. Nice deep chest with tight elbow, good length of ribbing & good rear angulation, was a close decision for BB. RBB; 2 Hayward’s Foxearth Got A Feeling, another nice bitch, nice head, good coat moved well. Level topline. OB (3) 1 Morris’ Pennywave Top Totti, a quality 23 month old bitch with a lot of potential. Beautiful feminine head with correct earset. Correct bite, kept in really good condition, nice harsh coat. Moved with ease, level topline on move and on stance. Good shoulder placement & nice tight elbows. Really pleased to award BB & BOB & pleased to see her be awarded BIS later on; 2 Hopper’s Arbennik Atlantek Reach at Brynfaw, nice head, good front with nice tight elbows. Moves well & has a nice harsh coat.
